Yaya’s Juke Joint: The Musical Revue transforms the spirit of the traditional juke joint into a full theatrical experience featuring live music, storytelling, dance, and audience interaction.

Originally inspired by the live community-based Yaya’s Juke Joint experience, the revue expands the concept into a stage production designed for theaters and performing arts venues.

Written and created by Ayana Washington, with set design by Steven Langston and historical consultation by Tyanna West.
